Prefs Limited bring screen printing under one roof 

We are pleased to announce the introduction of 'in house' screen printing facilities at our plant at Bankfield Mill, Bolton. This has enabled tighter control over production leading to a better service and lead times for our clients.

Mark Shore (formally of Shore Print Limited) will be overseeing the smooth running of the facility. It is a small step in controlling the Print Management side of the company which during the current climate has grown by more then 30% in the past 2 years.

Congratulations to our Sales Director - over 35 & 40 Senior World doubles Champion 2009

Our congratulations go out to Prefs Sales Director, Chris Hunt, who on the 3rd October 2009 became the over 35 mixed doubles, with Helle Andressen of Denmark, & over 40 mens doubles, with Nick Ponting of England, in the Senior World badminton Champion. 

Having represented both Great Britain in 1992/96 & 2000 olympics as a professional player for 12 years, Chris decided to pick up his rackets once more and represented England in Punta Umbria in Spain for the Senoir World Championships.

The BWF World Senior Championships, into its fourth edition, has attracted a huge number of entries with 708 players from 34 countries competing in the week long tournament.

Expanding space

We are happy to announce the expansion of our manufacturing plant in Bolton. With almost 4,000 sqft including a new sales office planned in the 3rd quarter 2010

It is with great pleasure for Prefs Limited to announce the aquisition of the long established company of David Connolly Ltd. The Yorkshire based company will continue to trade as normal, but will now be a division of Prefs Ltd.

The new accuqisition enables Prefs to consolidate on its market share in the bespoke stationery market, and to offer clients a wider choice of quality products.  We have also been able to be bring extra skills and products to our already vast range.

"After many years running my own filing company and over forty years in the filing business I have finally decided to retire. Pipe and slippers time has, at last, arrived. The good news is that my company will not be retiring, far from it, it will continue to provide the same high quality products and service, using the same name but as part of Prefs Ltd, Bankfield Mill, Bolton. I have been associated with Prefs for over thirty years and can thoroughly recommend them to yourselves. They are an old established family run firm, filing company with an excellent reputation in the trade. I am confident the joining of the two companies will be of benefit to everyone concerned.
